Get to know Sergio, a truly remarkable individual who embodies the heart of our team! Sergio's professional background is solid and diverse, with nearly a decade of HVAC expertise and having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. But what truly makes Sergio shine is his incredible passion for animals and people. As a dedicated dog owner himself for seven years, he has a special touch with all pets, big or small, making instant friends wherever he goes. Our clients' beloved animals light up whenever he comes to visit them! Beyond his remarkable rapport with furry friends, Sergio also lends his compassionate nature to elder companionship, has a knack for garage organization, and consistently exceeds expectations in every task. In fact, our senior clients often describe him as "the politest gentleman!" It's genuinely a joy to have such a hardworking and wonderfully multi-talented person like Sergio as part of our extended Varela Visits family!
Beth
Beth Felipe, RN, is a seasoned and dedicated Registered Nurse with over 25 years of extensive experience in the home healthcare industry. Throughout her career, she has held progressive roles ranging from Staff Nurse to Director of Nursing and Clinical Supervisor. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care, regulatory compliance, and team leadership in both clinical and administrative settings.
Beth has worked with several home health agencies and her responsibilities have included conducting patient admissions and assessments, overseeing care planning and implementation, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with both state and federal healthcare regulations. She is well-versed in managing clinical documentation systems, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and facilitating staff training and development.
In leadership roles, she has successfully directed nursing departments, updated agency policies and procedures, and collaborated on the development of strategic service goals. Her experience also includes participating in quality assurance programs, handling audits, and promoting patient safety initiatives. Elizabeth’s ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments while maintaining high standards of care has made her a valuable asset to every organization she has served.
Carolyn
Get to know Carolyn, a truly dedicated and compassionate member of our team! Residing in Fort Worth with her husband and their delightful tuxedo cat, Carolyn spends a breadth of her time toward her career in nonprofit fundraising, driven by a deep passion for community impact. This same heartfelt commitment shines through in her caregiving roles. Carolyn boasts a broad range of experience working with children from newborns all the way to high schoolers, bringing a nuanced understanding of their individual needs. As a former Montessori teacher, she naturally employs a nurturing, hands-on approach that encourages development and fosters a love of learning. Her expertise extends to our furry family members too; Carolyn has extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and needs
Jessica
Meet Jessica, a heartily capable and compassionate member of our team! Jessica brings a fantastic blend of expertise, holding an MBA from Columbia International University along with a diverse background in both real estate and personal assistance. Her sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and — believe it or not — a genuine love for the much-dreaded task of moving, inspired her to launch her own successful home organization business. Through this venture, she's built an impressive client base, gained valuable experience, and earned glowing reviews for her ability to create order and calm in any space and home. Beyond her professional prowess, Jessica is also a proud first-time mom to a baby girl. Her naturally gentle, nurturing, and thoughtful nature makes her a truly comforting and capable presence in any home she assists.
Sadie
Sadie has three years of outdoor camp experience, including serving on the administrative staff of an all-girls camp. She is currently a professional ballerina with Ballet Frontier, and has four years of ballet teaching experience. She is also a wonderful ballet teacher and friend to every child she meets. She is certified in music theory through Berklee College of Music Online, and plays the piano and guitar. She holds a CPR and First Aid certification through the American Red Cross. She loves to learn, read, be outdoors, and especially enjoys time spent caring for animals! She is a joy to know and people of all backgrounds warm up to Sadie without hesitation.
Sonia
Get to know Sonia, a wonderfully dependable and warm-hearted member of our team! Sonia brings over three years of dedicated caregiving experience, supporting both seniors and young children (from 4 months to 4 years old). Her versatile background also includes over five years of professional housekeeping and nearly 15 years in the food service industry. Known for her keen attention to detail and warm demeanor, Sonia loves preparing meals, caring for animals, and keeping homes welcoming. She's CPR certified, takes a screen-free approach to caregiving, and truly values personal connection. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her children, daughter-in-law, and her beloved trio of dogs.
Isabelle
Moms and music are Isabelle's specialty. After spending years as a music therapist, Isabelle became a certified doula in order to support parents with their birth plan and provide much needed respite after birth too. Many people may not know this, but you can obtain doula services even before conceiving. Isabelle is able to help with fertility consulting, nursery set-up, and will even customize a womb song. Isabelle is also a wonderful pet parent herself with a love for horses, cats, dogs, and all critters in between. Our clients have raved about Isabelle's professionalism, warmth, and her super ability to care for those around her.
ERIC
Eric is an electrical engineer with 5+ years of experience in the DFW railroad industry, and he brings that same level of precision and reliability to the homes and families he serves through Varela Visits. With a strong background in woodworking and handyman repairs, Eric has helped our clients with a wide range of projects, including garage revamps, post-construction cleanups, furniture assembly, packing and moving support, installations, and minor electrical troubleshooting.
He approaches every job with professionalism, care, and a can-do attitude. Eric is also an animal lover and enjoys assisting with dog walks and pet visits, making sure both pets and their homes are well cared for when families are away. His goal is to leave every space better than he found it, and every client feeling supported.
